Exciting news for aspiring Korean language learners!
We are pleased to announce that eligibility tests are now available for your convenience. If you believe you possess a solid understanding of Korean and wish to skip Beginner 1, you can evaluate your skills by taking this test.
Scoring less than 30 marks indicates that you should begin your language journey at Beginner 1, as you may still require a foundation in the basics.
Achieving a score between 30 and 45 will allow you to join the second half of Beginner 1, demonstrating your readiness for further challenges.
However, if you score above 45 marks, congratulations! You can confidently skip Beginner 1 and directly enroll in Beginner 2. Embrace this opportunity to accelerate your language learning journey.
WHY TISOKL?
TOPIK EXAM
The TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) exam is a standardized test administered by the Korean government. It assesses the Korean language proficiency of non-native speakers across various levels. The exam is widely recognized and serves as an official certification for individuals who wish to study, work, or live in Korea.
The TOPIK 1 exam consists of levels 1 and 2, and it assesses listening and reading skills. On the other hand, the TOPIK 2 exam covers levels 3, 4, 5, and 6 and includes listening, reading, and writing sections.
TOPIK 1 is designed for beginners or those with basic knowledge of the Korean language. It evaluates candidates' ability to understand simple conversations, basic expressions, and written texts.
The listening section assesses their comprehension of short dialogues and monologues, while the reading section tests their ability to understand simple sentences and short passages.
Preparation for the TOPIK exams requires studying relevant vocabulary, grammar, and sentence patterns specific to each level. It is also important to practice with sample questions, past papers, and mock tests to familiarize yourself with the exam format and timing.
By successfully passing the TOPIK exams, individuals can demonstrate their proficiency in the Korean language and enhance their opportunities for further study, work, or cultural engagement in Korea
